Aaron Turner is the Deputy Director of Physical Plant Management. He began working with SCDJJ in May 2023. Prior to joining SCDJJ, he spent 16 years at the South Carolina Department of Corrections as the Construction Supervisor and the Manager of Architectural and Engineering Services. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina.
Deputy Director, Division of Security and Operations
Priscilla Pee is the Deputy Director of Security and Operations. With almost 40 years of juvenile justice experience, Deputy Pee has held numerous positions. She began her career as a Juvenile Correctional Officer and served SCDJJ in a variety of positions, including Captain of Security, Major of Internal Training, Interim Facility Administrator, Juvenile Relations Coordinator, Quality Assurance Specialist and Management Review Administrator. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Francis Marion University and a Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology from Argosy University. She is also a graduate of the South Carolina Certified Public Manager (CPM) program, a nationally accredited management and leadership development program.
Deputy Director, Facility Rehabilitation and Health Services
Dr. Ernest L. Brown, Jr. is a clinically and forensically trained Licensed Psychologist. He has more than 20 years of paraprofessional and professional experience serving youth and adults in residential treatment homes and facilities, youth development centers, prisons, psychiatric state hospitals, and the home, school, and community settings. Dr. Brown has been with SCDJJ since August 2020, serving in previous roles as a Community Psychologist, Admission Psychologist, and Associate Deputy of Facility Clinical Services.
Jennifer Loschiavo serves as the Deputy Director of Community Treatment Services at SCDJJ. In this role, she leads a division dedicated to enhancing behavioral health interventions and evaluations for youth served in the community.
Mrs. Loschiavo brings over 20 years of experience in delivering direct services and overseeing community-based programming. Prior to her current role, she served as Administrator for Medicaid Compliance and as Associate Deputy of Community Alternatives, managing the agency’s residential camps and private provider contracts. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Southern Connecticut State University and is a graduate of the South Carolina Certified Public Manager (CPM) Program.
